Care and Maintenance
To maintain the beauty and integrity of your journal, we recommend mindful care. Linen is a natural fiber that softens over time and reflects regular use.
Simple practices, such as storing it away from excess friction and moisture, will help preserve the cover’s texture. If lint or natural fibers appear, a soft lint brush can be used to gently refresh the surface.

Once inventory arrives (expected April 2026), orders will ship from the US within 5-7 business days. You'll receive tracking information once your journal ships.
We stand behind the craftsmanship of every journal. If you receive a product with any manufacturing defect, please contact us immediately for a replacement.
Unused journals may be returned within 14 days in original condition for a full refund. Due to the personal nature of this practice tool, we can only accept returns for journals that have not been written in.
I highly recommend the .1 Daily Gratitude Journal for lawyers seeking evidence‑backed ways to enhance both their legal practice and their life. After just a few weeks using it, I felt more in control of my work and daily schedule, and able to handle the inevitable “fires” of an in‑house role more effectively. WHY LAWYERS CHOOSE THIS
Because the demands are high.
You're responding to urgent client emails at 2am, managing opposing counsel who won't negotiate in good faith, and carrying the weight of outcomes that affect people's lives, livelihoods, and futures.
Because the expectations are constant.
Billable hours don't pause. Deadlines don't flex. And the pressure to be sharp, composed, and several steps ahead never lets up.
Because clarity is essential.
When you're drafting motions, advising clients through high-stakes decisions, or standing in front of a judge, there's no room for mental fog or emotional reactivity.
Because emotional steadiness supports high performance.
The ability to stay grounded when a deal falls apart, a case takes an unexpected turn, or a client panics determines not just your effectiveness, but your longevity in this profession.
And because your work matters—and so do you.
Gratitude changed my life. I created this journal because I needed it first. I started with six minutes a day. I wrote down three things I was grateful for and how I wanted to see the day go for a few minutes in the morning and reflected on my wins in the evening. Within 60 days, I felt lighter, more confident, more clear and connected to myself. Not because I changed my workload, but because I changed how I showed up inside of it. This journal became my way back to clarity, to purpose, to myself. If you've been looking for a practice that honors both your ambition and your humanity, this is it.

WHAT MAKES THIS JOURNAL DIFFERENT
It understands the emotional landscape of legal work.
Not as a problem to fix, but as a dimension of leadership to honor.
This is not about doing more or fixing yourself.
It is a daily moment of clarity.
A return to presence.
Resting on your desk, it serves as a quiet reminder of your capability, steadiness, and worth, even on the hardest days.
A practice that supports both your nervous system and your leadership.
WHO THIS IS FOR
This journal is for those who understand that sustainable excellence requires care for the human behind the title.
Before your laptop opens and the demands begin, this journal sits on your desk, waiting for you.
3 minutes to lead your day
The Morning Brief guides you to set your intention, identify how you will lead today, and take aligned action to move forward. It lives on your desk, not hidden in a drawer, so it's the first thing you see before you begin your day.
Research shows you're 42% more likely to achieve a goal when you write it down because writing primes your brain to notice opportunities and filter distractions.
3 minutes to close your evening
Before you sign off for the day, the journal on your desk becomes your cue to pause, reflect, and reconnect.
The Evening Close prompts you to write down your wins, who you served, and how serving them made you feel.
Over time, this daily tracker becomes a living record of your contribution, a reminder to share your wins with others, and reconnects you to your purpose.
You will feel at home in this journal if you want
• Clarity without overwhelm
• Emotional steadiness under pressure
• A quiet ritual that builds resilience
• A practice that reconnects you to purpose in your work
• A tool that supports both ambition and well-being
WHY THIS JOURNAL EXISTS
Legal work demands precision, endurance, and emotional control, often without space to process the human cost.
You were trained to perform with rigor.
This journal supports your ability to lead with presence.
It was created to offer a simple, structured six-minute practice that supports clarity, emotional steadiness, and grounded decision-making inside high-pressure work.
This does not ask you to add more to your day.
It fits into the time you already have.
A daily reset that works with your nervous system, not against it.
By increasing cognitive and emotional capacity, research shows that a consistent gratitude practice supports sustained focus and resilience, making it easier to meet your billables without operating in constant strain.
Over time, this journal gently strengthens how you think, feel, and lead.
Three minutes in the morning.
Three minutes in the evening.
A rhythm that fits the life of a lawyer building toward calm clarity, intentional focus, and deeper purpose.
Hi, I’m Chandani.
I'm a mother, lawyer, and author of the .1 Daily Gratitude Journal.
After nearly two decades in corporate law leading teams at Adobe, TuneIn, and Popsugar Media, I understand something essential: when you're constantly focused on what needs fixing, your mind forgets to notice what's working.
For years, I managed high stakes matters with competence and care. But beneath the surface, the day was running me. I was anticipating problems, managing risk, bracing for what could go wrong. That's what the work required. But it became how I lived.
It wasn't until I began a simple daily gratitude practice that everything shifted.
After 60 days, my executive coach asked what I'd been doing differently. I hadn't changed my workload or fixed all my problems. The only thing I'd done consistently was gratitude. She told me my energy and presence had completely transformed. Others noticed it too.
I wasn't perfect. But I was consistent.
A short gratitude practice in the morning and writing down my wins in the evening gave me the space to pause and notice what was already good. It helped me soften the perfectionist mindset that had been so deeply conditioned and instead move with clarity, confidence, and presence. Not by avoiding challenges, but by meeting them differently.
That practice became the foundation for the .1 Daily Gratitude Journal for lawyers.
I created it for lawyers who carry a lot, give a lot, and often forget to come back to themselves. This journal helps you reclaim your energy instead of letting the day run you, notice what's working so you stop living in constant problem solving mode, build resilience through small consistent practices that compound over time, and show up with presence in your work and your life.
If you find yourself feeling the weight of it all, please know you are not alone. And there is a way to move through life that honors both your strength and your well being.
Gratitude was my way in.
It continues to be my way forward.
I hope it serves you, too.
With deep gratitude,
Chandani
