I'm a mother, lawyer, and author of the .1 Daily Gratitude Journal.

After nearly two decades in corporate law leading teams at Adobe, TuneIn, and Popsugar Media, I understand something essential: when you're constantly focused on what needs fixing, your mind forgets to notice what's working.

For years, I managed high stakes matters with competence and care. But beneath the surface, the day was running me. I was anticipating problems, managing risk, bracing for what could go wrong. That's what the work required. But it became how I lived.

It wasn't until I began a simple daily gratitude practice that everything shifted.

After 60 days, my executive coach asked what I'd been doing differently. I hadn't changed my workload or fixed all my problems. The only thing I'd done consistently was gratitude. She told me my energy and presence had completely transformed. Others noticed it too.

I wasn't perfect. But I was consistent.

A short gratitude practice in the morning and writing down my wins in the evening gave me the space to pause and notice what was already good. It helped me soften the perfectionist mindset that had been so deeply conditioned and instead move with clarity, confidence, and presence. Not by avoiding challenges, but by meeting them differently.

That practice became the foundation for the .1 Daily Gratitude Journal.
